Mind Over Money Institute

Isn’t it time you controlled your money instead of it controlling you?

Whether you feel “rich” or “poor,” ask yourself: "Do I really use my money wisely?"

  • Do you find yourself buying things you don’t really need or use?
  • Do you buy things to impress yourself or others?
  • Do you buy things when you are upset or sad? Feeling lonely or unappreciated?
  • Do you have more and more things, but less time to enjoy them?
  • (On the other hand, do you stash away money and never spend it?)

If you said “yes” to any of these questions, may also find yourself

  • Living paycheck to paycheck--not feeling a true sense of security or fulfillment.
  • Not saving for something important (like your future, your child’s education, etc.)
  • If you use credit cards, you may find your balances climbing
  • You may be behind in your bills or only pay the minimum due.
  • You may find yourself skipping important things like medical appointments or car repairs.

You can take control and turn the tide around. Your money can serve you and your family better.

My aim is to teach you how to consciously reflect on the meaning and motivations behind your routine spending so you can make better decisions with your money no matter where you are on the financial continuum. Recognizing how your habits of mind and emotion affects what you do with money is the key--and it IS possible to learn to be more mindful.

What you think, feel, and do with money each day is impacting your financial present and future right now--as well as your quality of life and feelings of happiness (or lack there of). Take steps now to be sure that what you are creating is truly what you want….that all your hard work is amounting to something you really value!
